ITE (International Technologies for Environment Co., Ltd.) provides highly qualified engineering services in the field of remediation and cleanup of contaminated sites in the Chinese market.

ITE’s clients are private companies, such as owners and operators of industrial facilities, real estate developers and lenders, involved in brownfield reclamation projects, and governmental public bodies or institutes seeking technical support in their institutional activities in the contaminated sites remediation field.

ITE’s young and highly motivated staff, is provided with an extensive experience in solving site remediation problems and utilizes leading-edge software, hardware and field equipment to carry out project assignments. ITE is also backed by the services of reliable contractors for field investigations and laboratory analyses.

ITE merges together the competences of two leading Italian companies:

  • D’Appolonia S.p.A., a major consulting engineering firm providing multi-disciplinary services to both public and private clients in the energy, environment, infrastructures, transportation and industry sectors.
  • ISAF S.r.l., a firm highly qualified in the field of environmental engineering, specifically providing state-of-the-art engineering services for contaminated sites and their remediation.

ITE partners have been cooperating since 2007 in the field of contaminated sites assessment and remediation, working on Chinese funded projects and within the Sino-Italian Cooperation Programme (SICP) financed by the Italian Ministry of Environment and Territory (IMELS)

ITE has also entered cooperation agreements or set up joint ventures with Chinese and foreign companies, finalized to the successful completion of cleanup and remediation of contaminated sites.

ITE is proposing its services to operate on the following activities in the field of contaminated sites:

  • site assessment, including site surveying and data gathering, investigation planning, field investigations (with support by subcontractors), laboratory analyses (with support by subcontractors), site evaluation risk analysis, selection of remediation goals and definition of remediation strategies;
  • consulting and design for contaminated soil and groundwater remediation and other engineering activities related to soil and subsoil contamination, including state-of-the-art technologies development and application;
  • supervision of the implementation of remedial measures and post-assessment site qualification;
  • technical support on regulatory, legal and permitting issues;
  • consulting services for the identification of pending environmental liabilities within land or plants property transactions.
